The Mary Valley Show Society Inc. is an Incorporated, non-profit society, dedicated to the continuance of the Mary Valley Show. It was established in 1919 by a committee of dedicated community members. The Mary Valley is located in the picturesque hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. The society hosts a range of events during the year, providing support, catering, and facilities, with the aim of financing the Show, including:
- Endurance Rides
- Car Rallies
- Mary Valley Art Festival
- Melbourne Cup Festivities
- Hall and Ground Hire
and of course,
The Mary Valley Show, Rodeo and Woodchop.
All of the members and committee are volunteers, giving their time and energy to sustain the goodwill and atmosphere of a rural Show, with a full range of entertainment and competitions, the “showing” of the best products and talents of this agricultural area.
Our AGM is held in February each year.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5.30pm at the Imbil public hall. New members are always welcome.
We can cater for your function with our enthusiastic volunteer staff or/and hire out the grounds and hall.
We are affiliated with the Royal Agricultural Society and the NRA.
Our Rodeo is part of the “Jim Beam Silver Buckle” series.
